If you can't find whipped scallion or veggie cream cheese, it's easy enough to make it yourself. Whip an 8-ounce bar of cream cheese until it's softened and is just getting fluffy. Add 3 teaspoons of fine-diced scallions, 1 teaspoon of crushed garlic and a pinch of salt and pepper. For the veggie cream cheese, add fine-diced carrots, scallions, radish, celery, garlic and spices.
A Bit of History
John Macy set out to create an appetizer with a high-quality crunch, a pinch of pizzazz, and most importantly to bring people together and connect around food they love. John started off making his savory delights in his kitchen in California and soon moved to a loft in New York City’s East Village to follow his dream. After resounding success in New York, the company expanded to a bakery in New Jersey. The move allowed the company to build upon the same quality, pride in craft, and to share it with a wider audience. Since John’s first days in his California kitchen to the present, we’ve continued to innovate, introduce exciting new items all with the goal of creating an experience that you will be proud to share with your family and friends.
